Another Weekend to Get It In

Another week is complete making it eight more days until school is out. In a way im excited and then again I know the first day of break Im going to miss it. Today I was so exhausted but I did my thing. With no room for error its time to over do it. I have to get it in all the way with no mistakes being made. Im not saying it is impossible, Im just saying that it takes lots of focus. The other night I finally got the dos of reality that I needed. I always say that music is all I have and never really understood how true it is. Yes Im still going to college which relies on grants and scholarships and once the gualla starts rolling in then I am able to pay college tuition with that. Basically its me against the world. Music will get me into college along with the scholarships and grants. Music will get me my own stuff, my cars, clothes, home. Let me give you some food for thought: Have you ever had to rely completely on yourself for everything you ever wanted. All I can say is get it in by any means. Put in overtime and do whatever you can to get on top. But through it all dont forget to make yourself happy in the process of making everyone else proud. One thing that has to always be remembered is that this journey is just beginning and is nowhere near the end so you may as well stick it out and make the best of it. So tonight before you go to sleep, i want you to find a mirror, look in it, and tell yourself that you are your own competition. There is nobody greater than myself...Case Closed
